X-Files may get a reboot

The famous X-Files series from the nineties will get a “new version” from Disney. This was reported by Bloomberg.

Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther and Creed, will direct and produce the series. Unfortunately, that’s all the details we know so far.

It is also unknown whether the main actors of the original series, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, will return. Gillian herself, who played the role of Scully, said that a lot would have to change for her to return to her role.

X-Files is a TV series that ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2002, telling the story of detectives Dana Scully and Fox Mulder, who investigated mysterious paranormal cases.
