The original The Crew is no longer available for purchase. From March 31, 2024, the game will stop working

Ubisoft has announced that it will stop supporting the original The Crew (2014).

The Crew and any DLC for the game can no longer be purchased on any gaming service. The game will be available until March 31, 2024, after which the servers will be shut down and The Crew will no longer be available on any of the platforms: PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Amazon Luna, and Ubisoft+.

The discontinuation of support for the game is related to the upcoming change in server infrastructure and license restrictions. As we understand it, this refers to the time limitations of car licenses from car manufacturers. The Crew is not the first game to suffer from this practice.

Those players who have recently purchased The Crew can try to get a refund through the Ubisoft Store refund.

Since the release of the original The Crew (2014), Ubisoft Ivory Tower has managed to release two more games in the series: The Crew 2 (2018) and The Crew Motorfest (2023). The latter received good feedback from players and the media.
