Ukraine ranks third in Europe in terms of open data development. The relevant results of Open Data Maturity 2023 were published by the Ministry of Digital Transformation on Telegram.

“35 European countries participated in the study, and Ukraine ranked third. France won, Poland came in second. Our country is among the top three despite the war,” the statement said.

It also added that the level of open data maturity in our country is 96%, while the average in Europe is 83%. Ukraine has confidently outperformed other countries in terms of the impact of open data.

“We continue to develop this area, as open data is the basis for transparent government work, successful anti-corruption policy, and strong development of open data products and services,” the ministry said.

As a reminder, in the Open Data Maturity 2022 ranking, Ukraine was ranked second in Europe in terms of open data development. France was in first place, and Poland was in third.
