The social media platform Threads, which was launched in July this year, has finally become available to users in the European Union, reports TechCrunch.

The social network was not available in Europe for 5 months due to privacy concerns. The program collected users’ personal information, including health and financial data, exact location, browsing history, contacts, search history, and more.

In the EU, users will be able to use Threads without an account. Such users will be shown a feed with the most popular posts and will be able to search for individual accounts.

Threads is finally available in Europe

During the recent Meta financial report, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Threeads currently has less than 100 million monthly active users. Perhaps the launch in the EU will be able to fix this.
