A24 and Hideo Kojima have begun working together on the adaptation of Death Stranding. According to Game Informer, this became known from the description of a new T-shirt on the A24 website.

“It’s official: we’ve partnered with Kojiima Productions on the live-action feature film adaptation of Hideo Kojima’s acclaimed video game, DEATH STRANDING,” is written in the description of the T-shirt.

News of the game’s adaptation has been around for a long time, and Kojima himself said that he was “deeply involved in the production, supervision, planning, design, and content of the adaptation,” but he is not the director.

Now it has officially become known that A24 will be responsible for the production. However, so far there have been no other official announcements from either A24 or Kojima Production. There were also no other details about the upcoming film adaptation.
