Blue Origin has announced that it will launch its New Shepard suborbital manned rocket on December 18. This is reported by TechCrunch.
The mission, called NS-24, involves the delivery of cargo, including scientific and research cargo. There will be no passengers on board.

The upcoming flight will take place after a 15-month break. In September last year, the NS-23 mission came to an abortive end. There was no crew on board, so there were no casualties.
The investigation revealed that the accident was caused by a thermostructural failure of the nozzle on the BE-3PM engine. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) required Blue Origin to implement corrective actions and changes.
The fact that the company has announced the date of the upcoming launch means that it has fulfilled all the requirements necessary for this.
