The Game Awards presented KEMURI, the debut project of UNSEEN, a studio founded by Ikumi Nakamura, a former Tango Gameworks developer who worked on such projects as The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2, and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Despite the fact that not much has been said about the game itself, it was noteworthy that the trailer used the track ZENIT by the Ukrainian band ONUKA.

In KEMURI, players will be transported to the urban jungle where the unpredictable meets the extraordinary, where mysterious creatures – yokai – hide among the population. Players will become yokai hunters and, alone or in a cooperative with friends, will have to unravel the mysteries of the city and bring balance to the world.

The world of KEMURI is a mixture of Japanese folklore, modern culture, anime aesthetics and international style, where supernatural miracles exist just beyond the reach of ordinary people.

The game’s release date has not yet been announced.
