The Discord mobile app has received a major update with a new design and other improvements to make the user experience more enjoyable.
From now on, private messages and servers will be located in different tabs to make it easier for users to find the chats or people they need. The app’s search and notifications tab have been improved for the same purpose.
This update also officially adds the long-awaited Midnight theme, which switches the app to all-black colors and helps devices with OLED screens save battery power.
The company has also worked on video and audio calls, improving the interface, adding a tab with active friends and interaction with group personal chats.
We also added the ability to upload more media files at a time and increased the allowed size to 25 MB.
And, of course, we couldn’t do without optimization, bug fixes, faster launch, and other things that will make using the program more enjoyable.
