A few days ago, Ubisoft accidentally published the Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition page on the XBOX Store. Later, the page disappeared from the store, but Ubisoft officially confirmed that the re-release will be released.

According to IGN, the game’s page in the store was a “mistake”, but Ubisoft on X/Twitter reported that the 20th anniversary re-release is still official and will be released in early 2024.

Although the company does not disclose details, we managed to gather the main information from the XBOX store page. The game will have improved graphics, controls, and sound, as well as a new auto-save feature and the ability to transfer progress between platforms.

In addition, the 20th Anniversary Edition will support 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. The page also contains several screenshots of the new version of the game.

Currently, no official release date has been announced, but Ubisoft may potentially tell more about the re-release during The Game Awards on December 8.
