During a speech at the DealBook conference, Elon Musk, the owner of X, told advertisers to go fuck themselves. It happened during an onstage interview.
Speaking about the anti-Semitic scandal, Elon commented on the decision of companies that decided to stop advertising their products on the social network:
“I hope they stop. Don’t advertise. If someone is trying to blackmail me with advertising, money, you can go fuck yourself. Just go fuck yourself hell, I hope that’s clear.”
After that, Musk sent his greetings to “Bob,” most likely referring to Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, one of the companies that not only stopped advertising on X, but almost completely stopped maintaining an account on the social network.
After that, Elon began to explain that what advertisers are doing now will kill X.
“The whole world will know that these advertisers killed the company. Everyone will know everything in the smallest detail.”
When the interviewer tried to give arguments against this statement, Elon said that “let the Earth decide”.
