Amazon introduced its own image generator Titan Image Generator

Amazon has introduced its own image generator based on artificial intelligence, joining the tech giants and startups that have already done so. The company presented the development during the re:Invent 2023 event in Las Vegas, writes TechCrunch.

The image generator is called Titan Image Generator and is already available for preview to Amazon Web Services Cloud Computing customers on the Bedrock platform. It is capable of creating new images and modifying existing ones.

Titan Image Generator was trained on “a variety of datasets,” although the company did not specify where they came from or whether it had obtained permission to train from all authors.

Among other things, the image generator includes built-in tools to reduce toxicity and bias. Also, images created with its help will contain invisible watermarks.

During the event in Las Vegas, Amazon also announced the Trainium2 chip for training AI systems, Graviton4 processor and a chatbot called Amazon Q for enterprise customers.
