For the first time in many years, Instagram has introduced new filters. On iOS, there are more than 25 of them in addition to the existing ones, reports The Verge.

Some filters change the color or tone of an image. Others offer more global editing options, like the Wide angle or Wavy filters. You can adjust the intensity of the effects using the slider.

But it’s not all Instagram updates – some of them also apply to Reels. Currently, they are testing the ability to zoom, crop, and rotate individual videos, and soon they will integrate undo and redo buttons.

In addition, English-speaking users in selected countries will receive 10 new speech synthesizer voices and additional fonts.

At the same time, Instagram is testing the ability to create stickers from users’ photos and videos stored in personal galleries on their devices or on the platform. For this purpose, they use the Segment Anything artificial intelligence model.

Other changes to Instagram include a simplified draft view, faster access to the audio page in Reels, and more data on content views for creators.

By the way, it was recently reported that Instagram is testing a feed that will only include posts from verified users.
