The desktop version of the Chrome browser has started receiving interface updates based on a design language called Material You. Google announced such intentions back in September.

The update offers several visual changes, such as, as expected, more rounded corners and updated icons with a focus on readability.

The design also offers new bright colors and themes, as well as light and dark modes. You can try them out by going to a new tab and clicking Customize Chrome.

The lock icon has been removed from Omnibox. In its place is a new icon for site settings. For example, from here you can go to the menu to control access to the camera, microphone, and location.

In addition, users are offered a new menu and easier bookmarking. For example, bookmarks can now be found using a new search bar, sorting options, and editing tools in the sidebar.
