SpaceX Starship prepares for second test launch

SpaceX has posted a video on the preparation of the Super Heavy rocket and Starship for the second flight test.

According to SpaceX’s X/Twitter post, the Starship is preparing to launch on November 17, 2023, but is still awaiting final regulatory approval.

SpaceX has made a large number of upgrades to both the spacecraft and the launch vehicle, as well as to the ground infrastructure. Some of these updates are a direct result of lessons learned during the first flight test of the Starship.

As it became known in September 2023, the US Federal Aviation Administration required 63 important changes to the design of the Starship, Super Heavy, launch site structures, and some SpaceX procedures. As a reminder, the first test launch of the SpaceX Starship ended in an explosion at the 4th minute of the flight.
