Apple TV+ video service showed a teaser for the upcoming series Masters of the Air. The premiere of the 9-episode project is scheduled for January 26, 2024.

The series tells the story of the Allied aviation during the Second World War, which carried out dangerous missions. The script of Masters of the Air is based on the documentary novel by Donald L. Miller, which tells the story of air battles through the eyes of the British and American military.

The upcoming series aims to show the price the soldiers paid to destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich.

“Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to return home. Regardless of their fate, they all paid the price,” the teaser description reads.

The series has a star-studded cast: Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Raffa Lowe, James Murray, Freddie Carter.

Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman are the executive producers of Masters of the Air.

The series Masters of the Air is considered to be a part of the series started by Band of Brothers and The Pacific (2010).
