Keychron’s next keyboard, the Q1 HE, will be “the world’s first open-source wireless customizable keyboard with magnetic switches.”

The company plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign in November and start shipping in January 2024. The price has not yet been disclosed.

Equipped with innovative magnetic switches, the keyboard will provide more responsive, faster, and more accurate keystrokes during gaming for the best performance. Magnetic switches also allow you to reassign the trigger point and even set up a double action for a single keystroke.

For better performance, the KeychronQ1 HE supports 2.4G wireless mode with a polling frequency of 1000 Hz for an enhanced gaming experience, as well as the ability to connect up to 3 devices via Bluetooth.

On the other hand, the keyboard will have QMK/VIA support for reassigning keys and creating macros, an aluminum body, a double gasket design that will provide better sound, and it can be easily disassembled and modified.
