Microsoft reverses decision to withdraw free Game Pass subscription from employees
Microsoft has decided not to take away the free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription from its employees. According to The Verge, the company decided to reverse its decision after massive complaints from employees.
Earlier, the company wanted to take away the bonus in the form of a free subscription for most employees, leaving it only for the Xbox and Microsoft Gamin departments, but after massive complaints, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said that the decision was canceled.
Reportedly, this decision came mostly from the HR department, and Phil Spencer himself was not aware of such intentions of the company. No such changes are planned in the future, and employees will definitely receive a bonus in 2024.
