In early 2024, Microsoft will take away one bonus from its employees – a free subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, reports The Verge.

Starting in January next year, most of the company’s 238,000 employees will no longer have a free subscription, but will instead be offered a 12-month discount in the company’s in-house store.

These changes will mostly affect employees of non-gaming departments, while employees in Xbox and Microsoft Gaming will remain with the bonus.

Some employees began to express their dissatisfaction with these changes and even turned to Xbox CEO Phil Spencer for an answer, but so far neither Phil nor the company has commented on the situation.
