On November 1, Google will introduce Credential Manager, a new API for Android 14 that will help developers add access keys to their apps.

Credential Manager is used to store credentials such as username and password combinations and access keys.

The company has also published a post for developers, which explains how to migrate from FIDO2 to Credential Manager.

Earlier, Google introduced access keys for personal accounts and said it wanted to attract more companies to switch to the new authorization system.
