YouTube Music has added the ability to create playlist covers using artificial intelligence and the ability to quickly return to listening to your latest albums or artists.
Generating a playlist cover is quite simple. You just need to open the desired playlist, click on the edit button, and choose one of the themes offered by the app, which can be animals, nature, colors, etc. After that, everything is in your hands.
Another new feature in YouTube Music is a revamped home screen called Speed Dial. On this screen, the app will now suggest albums, playlists, or artists you’ve listened to most recently.
This is quite similar to Spotify’s home screen, which offers the same thing.
The AI-assisted cover creation feature is currently being tested in the United States for users with English as their primary language, and Speed Dial will be rolled out to all users over the next few months.
