Google has begun rolling out the About this image feature, which will help users find more information about a photo and its source on Google Search, writes The Verge.
This image was first announced back in May of this year during the Google I/O conference, but it has only just begun to be distributed to users around the world.
The new tool is currently available only in Google search. Once users find the image they are looking for, they will receive information about the photo’s mentions in the media, metadata, if available, and a possible source.
When About this image was first announced, the company said that it would be possible to use the tool with Google Lens, or simply by right-clicking on any image in Chrome, but these methods will only be available in the coming months, as well as access for more users.
