Google Play Games on PC has received an update in which the company added controller support, search, and support for new games, including Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

Clash of Clans and Clash Royale on PC will synchronize progress with other devices, including Chromebooks, where the games will be released in the coming weeks.

Finding the right games in the Google Play Games catalog, which has more than 3,000 of them, has become much easier. The company has added a search function that can be used in the All Games tab.

Players will now also be able to use their Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 DualSense, or PlayStation 4 DualShock gamepad in games that support the controller, such as Asphalt 9: Legends.

The update also adds support for 4K resolution. Along with this, the resolution can now be selected by pressing Shift + Tab in any game.
