Tined is introducing a new feature that will allow your friends and family to choose a match for you.

With Matchmaker, users will be able to invite their loved ones to recommend a potential match. A maximum of 15 links can be created, and they can be used even if the person with whom they are shared does not have a profile in the service.

The link will work for 24 hours, after which the account owner who created the link will receive a list of profiles marked as recommended, and then the user will make the final decision.

“For years, singles have asked their friends to help find their next match on Tinder, and now we’re making that so easy with Tinder Matchmaker,” says Melissa Hobley, Chief Marketing Officer at Tinder. “Tinder Matchmaker brings your circle of trust into your dating journey and helps you see the possibilities you might be overlooking from the perspective of those closest to you.”

Currently, the feature is available in the US, Australia, Germany, Canada, France, and 10 other countries, and the global launch of Tinder Matchmaker will take place over the next few months.
