Lenovo has announced the launch of a new gaming laptop model that was announced at IFA 2023 in September this year – Lenovo Legion 9i. According to the manufacturer, this is the first 16-inch gaming laptop with an autonomous cooling system.

The Lenovo Legion 9i uses 13th-generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics. The laptop is equipped with the Legion Coldfront liquid cooling system, which was developed in conjunction with Cooler Master and allows for up to 230 watts of heat dissipation. The enhanced cooling system activates when the temperature of the device reaches 84 degrees, at which point a liquid pump cools the GPU’s video memory, providing an additional 10 W of power.

The Lenovo Legion 9i is equipped with a Lenovo PureSight Mini-LED display with a resolution of 3.2K (3200×2000 pixels), 16:10 aspect ratio, variable refresh rate of 165 Hz (NVIDIA G-SYNC support) and brightness up to 1200 nits. All laptops are factory calibrated, and in the settings it is possible to switch between DCI-P3 color spaces (100% coverage is claimed) and sRBG.

The laptop is equipped with a 99.99 Wh battery and has two charging options: fast charging via a 330 Wh adapter or a more compact 140 Wh USB Type-C power adapter that is easier to take on the go. For connecting additional devices, Lenovo Legion 9i is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, a card reader and HDMI 2.1. For network access, there is an RJ-45 port and Wi-Fi 7 support.

The laptop has a pressed carbon body that provides strength and is 10% lighter than standard aluminum models, weighing 2.56 kg. Thanks to the pressed lid, each design is unique and not repeated on other models.

The new Lenovo Legion 9i is already available in Ukraine at a price of 199 999 UAH.
