It often happens that someone buys a new smartphone that has just been released, but it has an outdated version of the operating system. According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on a system that will fix this situation.

The iPhone 15 comes out of the box with the iOS 17 operating system, while iOS 17.0.3 is already available, and it’s been less than a month since its release, which is why Apple is working on a system that will allow you to update your smartphones without having to open the box.

The company has developed a patented pad-like device that, when a box with a smartphone inside is placed on it, will automatically start the device, install the latest up-to-date version of the operating system, and shut it down as if nothing had happened.

Such devices will appear in the company’s official stores by the end of the year.
