Netflix is planning to open new locations where fans can immerse themselves in the worlds of their favorite series, buy clothes, eat themed food, and perhaps even try to overcome the squid game obstacle course, writes Bloomberg.

These places are called Netflix Houses and are expected to combine retail, restaurants, and entertainment. The first two locations are scheduled to open in 2025, first in the United States and then worldwide.

Meanwhile, the management sees Netflix House as a way to promote its movies rather than a full-fledged source of income. At least for now.

“We’ve seen how much fans love to immerse themselves in the world of our movies and TV shows, and we’ve been thinking a lot about how to take that to the next level,” said Josh Simon, vice president of consumer products at the company.

There are no details about the future venues yet, as the company has not yet made any final decisions. It is still looking for potential locations for Netflix House.

Earlier, it became known that Netflix will launch cloud-based, game streaming on TVs, PCs, and Macs.
