In the summer, Blizzard together with actress Mila Kunis announced a charity fundraiser Pet Pack For Ukraine – two “pets” in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, a golden retriever Sunny and a baby murlock Flarky, could be purchased for World of Warcraft.

Now Blizzard has reported on the results of the campaign: it managed to raise $1.5 million, which was transferred to the American charity BlueCheck Ukraine, which searches for, verifies and supports Ukrainian NGOs that provide essential rescue and humanitarian aid in the country.

According to the report, the following organizations received the funds raised: Ukraine Assistance Organization (provides targeted free medical aid), Project Victory (a non-profit organization founded by combat veterans that provides food, shelter, medical supplies and basic necessities to people in war-affected areas), Lviv INSO (a humanitarian aid center that provides medical institutions in eastern Ukraine with the necessary medicines and resuscitation vehicles).

The full list of organizations for which funds have been raised through the Pet Pack For Ukraine campaign, as well as the specific programs that will be funded, can be found on the Blizzard website.
