Ukrainian specialists created the Himera radio station so that our military could always be in touch and effectively coordinate the work of their units. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development Mykhailo Fedorov in Telegram.
“This is a unique technology that works under enemy electronic warfare. Russians cannot block the radio signals and decrypt it. The development holds a charge for up to 4 days,” he explained.
The radio can also be integrated into a situational awareness system or used as a GPS beacon to help search and evacuate soldiers. The radio system can be controlled simply through the phone app.
“I am convinced that soon there will be even more such radios at the front. Himera was named the best defense-tech startup at IT Arena 2023 and received $10 thousand for product scaling and development,” added Mykhailo Fedorov.
In the future, he also promised even more technologies and innovations that will save the lives of our military.
