In honor of the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, the company will re-release Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 4K on Disney+, reports Gizmodo.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is the first full-length animated film by Disney, which premiered in 1937. An improved version will be available on the streaming platform on October 16.
The work on the restoration of the cartoon was carried out by The Wal Disney Company itself in collaboration with the Preservation team. The same specialists who were involved in the improvement of Cinderella were involved in the project.
Disney also shared the first image comparing the classic and restored versions of the cartoons.
