Samsung has announced a new smart tracker – SmartTag 2. The device will cost $30 and go on sale on October 10.

The tracker will have an updated design that will give users more options for attachment. For example, it can be used as a keychain.

The new version also updates the Compas View feature, which improves user interaction with the device thanks to arrows that show the direction and distance to Galaxy SmartTag2.

This feature will only be available with Samsung smartphones that support UWB.

The tracker will also receive IP67 protection and a larger battery that will hold a charge for 500 days in normal mode and 700 days in power saving mode.
