Ukrainians have created a cloak of invisibility from Russian thermal imagers and drones with thermal imaging cameras. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.

“The cloak blocks heat radiation and makes fighters invisible to the enemy. For example, our snipers or CCO teams performing combat missions,” he noted.

The design is compact and weighs up to 2.5 kg. The raincoat is highly protected from rain and sleet. It also does not burn and protects against high temperatures. The video shows a finished sample that has been successfully tested in the field.

“The invisibility cloak is just one of the developments that will help save the lives of our military at the front. We need even more,” added Mykhailo Fedorov.

He also called on professionals working on defense projects to submit them through the Brave1 platform.
