Made by Google, a presentation where the company will showcase the new Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones, will take place on October 4 at 17:00. You can watch it on the official YouTube channel.

It is already known that in addition to the new phones, the presentation will also showcase the new Pixel Buds and Pixel Watch. In addition, Android 14 is expected to be released tomorrow.

According to Google’s official preview and insider information, Pixel 8 Pro will have a new camera system: a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with macro focus, and another 48-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x zoom. The smartphone will have the same screen as its predecessor.

The regular Pixel 8 will be slightly smaller than its predecessor and will have a dual-lens camera system: a 50-megapixel wide-angle and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens. In addition, both smartphones will have a 10.5-megapixel front camera.

It is expected that smartphones may also receive staggered HDR technology, which will provide a better picture and other improvements that will use artificial intelligence.

Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will be powered by the new Tensor G3 chip. The smartphones will have 8 and 12 GB of RAM, respectively. The junior model will cost $699, while the senior model will cost $999, which in both cases is $100 more expensive than last year’s devices.
