Shooter Witchfire is now available for Early Access in the Epic Games Store

The promising shooter Witchfire from Polish studio The Astronauts is now available in Early Access Epic Games Store. On this occasion, the developers released a large overview trailer of the game.

The trailer tells us about the game’s plot, weapons, magic, universe, and roguelike elements that will be in Witchfire. In fact, judging by the demonstration, we can expect something like Returnal, but in the dark fantasy setting of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Given that The Astronauts studio was founded by the same people who once created People Can Fly and developed such games as Painkiller and Bulletstorm, you don’t have to worry about the shooter component. On the other hand, the first and the last game of The Astronauts – The Vanishing of Ethan Carter – was released back in 2014.

So far, Witchfire has been released only on the Epic Games Store, but in about a year the game should appear on other PC platforms, and most likely the full release of Witchfire is planned for that moment. The price of the game for Ukraine is 729 UAH.
