Don’t Nod Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment presented a big trailer for the action/RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which tells about the game’s gameplay and features.
As a reminder, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is the story of two ghost hunters in North America during the colonization. A woman, Anthea Duarte, is fatally wounded during one of their missions and becomes a ghost herself. Her partner Red McWright tries to find a way to help his beloved.
The new trailer tells about the game’s backstory; people and ghosts they will meet during the journey; the importance of the choices the main characters will make; and the features of the game’s role-playing and combat system. Actually, judging by the video, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden reminds me of a kind of The Witcher in the seventeenth century in America.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is being developed by the French studio Don’t Nod, the authors of such interesting games as Remember Me, Life Is Strange, Vampyr, and Life Is Strange 2. The publisher is French Focus Entertainment, which, among other things, published the Russian Atomic Heart.
