The official Facebook account of the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an attack by Ukrainian naval drones on two Russian Vasiliy Bykov-class ships in the southwestern part of the Black Sea.

Later, the video of the attack was posted on his own account by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

There are no additional details about this attack yet, but the Russians, as usual, announced the destruction of all five Ukrainian BNAs.

Ukrainian naval drones hit two Russian Vasiliy Bykov-class ships

The Vasiliy Bykov class of Project 22160 patrol ships is one of the newest in the Russian Navy. The first ship of the class, Vasily Bykov, was commissioned into the Black Sea Fleet only in 2018.

As of now, there are 4 Vasiliy Bykov class ships in the Black Sea, but the Russians have painted over the tactical numbers of the ships, so it is impossible to determine which ones were attacked. The main armament of this class of ships is 8 Kalibr-K cruise missiles. The actual manufacturer of the ships is the Zaliv Shipyard (Shipyard No. 532) in Kerch.
