Starting in October, Valve will provide information on Steam about game compatibility with Sony’s DualSense or DualShock controllers, writes Engadget.

“This is the first step towards helping players find games that support the most common computer game controllers,” the company said.

To do this, developers will be asked to fill out a special questionnaire on Steamworks. It should indicate whether the game offers full or partial support for Xbox, DualShock, and DualSense controllers.

Steam will show compatibility of games with PlayStation controllers

Valve explained this decision by the growing number of players using PlayStation controllers. According to the company, in 2018, 11% of players chose Sony controllers, and now this figure reaches 27%.

By the way, the number of Steam users who choose the Ukrainian language of the service interface continues to grow. According to Steam’s August 2023 hardware and software survey, 0.64% of Steam users already speak Ukrainian. This is a 0.02% increase compared to the previous month.
