Elon Musk announces the intention of Company X to file a lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for defamation, reports TechCrunch.
The billionaire accused the ADL, an organization that fights anti-Semitism, of falsely accusing him and X of anti-semitism.
“To clear our platform’s name on the matter of anti-Semitism, it looks like we have no choice but to file a defamation lawsuit against the Anti-Defamation League… oh the irony!” said Elon Musk.

Meanwhile, he holds the ADL responsible for the drop in X’s advertising revenues in the United States.
“Our US advertising revenue is still down 60%, primarily due to pressure on advertisers by ADL (that’s what advertisers tell us), so they almost succeeded in killing X/Twitter!” the billionaire emphasized.

As you know, the ADL recently reported on a conversation with X CEO Linda Yaccarino about combating hate speech on the social network. Soon after, Elon Musk liked posts with the hashtag #BanTheADL.
Anti-semitism was a problem on the platform long before Elon Musk took over the company. But since he bought the platform, reports of hate speech have increased.
