Elon Musk announces video and audio calls on the X platform, they will work on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC

Elon Musk has announced video and audio calls on the X platform, which was called Twitter before the rebranding. The billionaire wrote about the new features in a post.

According to him, the innovation will have a unique set of factors. First, calls will work on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC. Secondly, no phone number will be required to make a call. Finally, X will act as a global address book.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk did not provide any other details. Therefore, it is still unknown when exactly the platform users will be able to make calls.

Back in May, Elon Musk said that Twitter is working on a new voice and video chat feature that will function similarly to FaceTime.

Earlier, it was also reported that as part of Twitter’s rebranding to X, the updated platform may receive fintech functions, such as the ability to make payments and banking transactions.
