The release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been postponed and is now scheduled for PC and Xbox X|S Series in Q1 2024. This is reported by AIN.UA, referring to the presentation and the new trailer of the game.

Earlier, GSC Game World stated that they would present S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl in December 2023. Perhaps the date change was influenced by the events of this spring. Back then, Russian “gamers” blackmailed the Ukrainian GSC Game World, demanding the return of the Russian location, and eventually published 15 GB of leaks.

The company’s problems did not end there, as stolen and unofficial game materials appeared in the public domain in early summer. In June, a build of the game was published online, which could be launched and watched.

The development team has asked fans to refrain from viewing and distributing materials that will be posted online in order to avoid spoiling their experience of the game in the future.
