Despite the fact that Xiaomi’s new foldable smartphone will be exclusive to China, the device is attracting attention. The Mix Fold 3 is a very thin (10.86 mm) and light (255 grams) device that offers top-end features.

The company claims that the improved hinge ensures a minimum of 500,000 smartphone folds. This is twice as much as Samsung promises for the Galaxy Fold 5. In addition, the hinge allows you to open your smartphone at any angle between 45 and 135 degrees.

The external OLED display of the Mix Fold 3 has a diagonal of 6.56″, a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The internal 8.03″ OLED screen has a resolution of 2160×1916 pixels and a similar refresh rate, but it is an LTPO panel, so the frequency can be more flexibly adjusted to the content. The peak brightness of both displays is 2600 nits.
