The name Cadillac is probably self-explanatory – it has long been synonymous with the word “luxury” in the American way. And the phrase Cadillac Escalade means a big, powerful, expensive SUV. What happens when you add IQ?
The answer is the new Cadillac Escalade IQ electric car, and it lives up to expectations. First of all, it is huge: it has an overall length of 5.7 meters and a wheelbase of 3.46 meters. The width of the Cadillac Escalade IQ electric vehicle exceeds two meters, and the wheels are 24 inches wide. And all that in typical Cadillac style.
Second, we have a modern electric platform and high performance. The four-wheel drive is realized thanks to two electric motors with a total capacity of about 680 or even 750 “horses” (in Velocity Max mode), the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes five seconds. But other figures are more impressive: the size of the battery is 200 kWh and the declared autonomy of mileage is up to 450 miles or 724 km!
And other technologies are up to par: the Cadillac Escalade IQ electric vehicle is promised an air suspension with the ability to change the ground clearance within 125-200 mm, swivel rear wheels – together with the swivel front wheels, they allow you to move sideways. It also offers a night vision system, V2L technology, and an additional front trunk.
The interior of the Cadillac Escalade IQ also raises the bar, with premium leather and decorative lighting, a large 55-inch dual-panel display, and an additional center display. The standard version comes with the usual rear sofa, but the maximum version will be able to offer separate captain’s chairs and retractable tables.
But even the rich and the fans of “Americans” will have to wait. Currently, the Cadillac Escalade IQ electric car has only been announced. Subsequently, orders will be accepted and production will begin. The Cadillac Escalade IQ is expected to go on sale in the summer of 2024.
So there is time to raise money. After all, the Cadillac Escalade IQ electric car will cost at least about $130 thousand – and this is just the beginning…
