Threads should get a web version and search within a few weeks

In the coming weeks, the Threads platform will get a web version and a search function, emphasized Mark Zuckerberg in his post.

We remind you that Threads platform from Meta attempts to keep users. According to Sensor Tower, the number of daily active Threads users has dropped 82% since launch to 8 million as of July 31. This is the lowest number since the day after the app launched, when daily active users reached 44 million.

People are also opening the app less often and spending less time in it, Sensor Tower added. On the day of launch, Threads users opened the app 14 times and spent an average of 19 minutes in it. By August 1, the number of Threads sessions had dropped to 2.6 per day, and the average time spent in the app was 2.9 minutes.
