Intel is going to put AI into every product the company makes

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger is optimistic about artificial intelligence. According to him, the company plans to build AI into every product it creates. It is reported by The Verge.

Later this year, Intel will release its first consumer chip with an embedded neural processor for machine learning tasks, Meteor Lake.

Intel previously suggested that only its new premium Ultra chips could have AI co-processors. But Gelsinger seems to expect AI to eventually be in everything Intel sells.

“AI is going to be in every hearing aid in the future, including mine,” Intel CEO said.

We will remind, according to the results of the survey of the research company Valoir, AI has the potential to automate 40% of the average working day. They concluded that automation is already happening in many companies. Employees report that they have automated an average of 20% of previously manual tasks over the past two years.
