The capitalization of Nova Poshta/ Nova Post has exceeded $1 billion – Klymov

The level of capitalization of Nova Post despite the war exceeds $1 billion. Vyacheslav Klymov, co-owner of the company, said this during the Business Breakfast with Volodymyr Fedorin, writes Forbes.

At the same time, he noted that NP does not abandon plans to increase the level of capitalization to $3-5 billion.

“Now we are not thinking about capitalization, but we are sure that everything is going well with us,” Vyacheslav Klymov said.

Before the full-scale invasion, according to him, companies from the postal industry were conservatively valued with a multiplier of about 10. For example, the Polish InPost achieved IPO at the end of 2020 with a valuation of $9.5 billion. In Europe, this company has the largest network of post machines. Nova Poshta takes the second place.

We remind you that in June Nova Poshta / Nova Post opened the first branch in Germany, in Berlin. Germany became the fifth EU country where Nova Post branches appeared. By the end of the year, the company plans to open branches in Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Cologne.
