Ukrainian animated film Mavka. Forest song continues to conquer the world. During 16 weeks of national distribution, the movie earned UAH 151,541,192. 1,209,104 tickets were sold. This is reported by Ukrainian State Film Agency.

But even more interesting are the earnings of Mavka abroad, to which Germany has finally joined, and other countries have improved their results. According to the website Box Office Mojo, the Ukrainian cartoon has already collected $12,715,621 in 12 countries, including Ukraine. France is in the lead, but Italy, Germany and Spain also added a lot of money to the piggy bank of the Ukrainian film. Poland is not yet on the list, the pre-premiere shows of the Ukrainian Mavka began in selected cinemas in the country only in June 2023, and the premiere of the Polish version will take place only on August 4, 2023.

Mavka. Forest song in different countries:
France – $4,139,389

When Animagrad and Film.UA Group told us five years ago that they hoped for a good global distribution, we were very skeptical of these statements. We were wrong. We will remind, as of July 2021, the budget of the film was estimated at UAH 187,241,525, that is, it has already really paid off.

As of now Mavka. Forest Song is on the 58th place on the list of the highest grossing movies of 2023. As for a Ukrainian movie, this is a very good result.
