The streaming service Apple TV+ has released a trailer for the second season of its epic show Foundation, which is scheduled to premiere in July. The trailer shows that, compared to the first season, the plot of the series will become more action-oriented.

The second season of Foundation is set a century after the events of the first season. The Empire, led by Lee Pace’s Brother Day, prepares for a full-scale confrontation with the Foundation, led by Hari Seldon (Jared Harris).

The second season of Foundation will consist of 10 episodes, the premiere of the first episode will take place on July 14. The new season promises to be an exciting addition to the summer sci-fi lineup on Apple TV+, which already offers series such as Silo and Hello Tomorrow!.
