Bird Box Barcelona – a European spinoff of the horror film Bird Box

Netflix presented a teaser trailer for the movie Bird Box Barcelona – European adaptation / spinoff of the sci-fi horror film Bird Box (2018) starring Sandra Bullock.

As you can easily see from the title, the events of the film take place in Spain, which also suffers from a series of mysterious suicides committed by people who seem to have seen an unknown entity. Therefore, in order to survive outside the house, people are forced to wear bandages and not open their eyes.

The main role of a single father who protects his daughter was played by the famous Spanish actor Mario Casas. Among the producers of Bird Box Barcelona you can see the author of the original novel Bird Box Josh Malerman.

Bird Box Barcelona is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 14, 2023.
