We had steampunk, dieselpunk, cyberpunk, and now there will be solarpunk. German studio Cyberwave and publisher rokaplay launched Kickstarter and announced the game Solarpunk in which you will build a colony and survive thanks to ecologically clean energy.

It seems that the idea and the trailer were liked by the players, because the game reached the goal of the Kickstarter campaign of $32,094 in less than a day and already collected $49,268 from 937 users.

In Solarpunk, you will be able to build your own house on a sky island, engage in agriculture; create technical gadgets, robots and automate production processes; use sunlight, wind and water and create an energy system; build your own airship and explore distant islands in the sky. The game should have both single-player and co-op modes.

According to information from Kickstarter, the game should be released in Early Access in January 2024. In the meantime, you can add Solarpunk to the wishlist, because the game’s Steam page already exists.
