Recently, the FIAT company showed the first photo of its new model, the name of which should evoke warm memories from the past – because it is the FIAT Topolino. We will remind you that the FIAT Topolino car first appeared in the 30s of the last century and was the most simple and affordable vehicle for many buyers.
The new FIAT Topolino took a similar idea, but executed it in a modern way because now it is an electric car! And even more – the new FIAT Topolino is nothing more than a copy of Citroen Ami and Opel Rock-e: identical body, 6 kW (8 hp) electric motor, 5.5 kWh battery, range up to 70 km and a maximum of 45 km/h.
However, the new FIAT Topolino is a copy, not a clone. The compact electric car is distinguished by its own front part and recognizable “face”, it lacks traditional doors but has a folding canvas roof. More details about the new FIAT Topolino will appear before the end of this year, but the start of sales will have to wait until 2024.
