As part of assistance from Western partners, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received modern Rosenbauer PANTHER 4×4 airfield fire trucks. This is reported by the account of the Air Force of Ukraine.

“The Air Force received the first modern fire trucks as part of military-technical assistance from Western partners.

Firefighters quickly mastered the new equipment and are already using it to ensure flight safety at operational airfields. In addition, fire departments regularly train to extinguish ignition sources at airports, airplanes, and special equipment.

In the near future, fire brigades at all airfields of the Air Force will be provided with modern fire trucks. This will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of firefighters and help save the lives of our soldiers,” the message says.

Rosenbauer PANTHER 4×4 is a new model of a fire truck from the Austrian concern Rosenbauer, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of similar equipment. The PANTHER 4×4 can reach speeds of up to 115 km/h, has built-in 6,950L water and foam tanks and two hydrants, front and boom.
